When it comes to INJECTING TESTOSTERONE, we have studied extensively the three main treatment regimens and offerings on the scientific market today:
- Intramuscular buttock injection with a 23-gauge, 1-inch needle.
- Subcutaneous belly injection with a 30-gauge, 8mm (5/16-inch) needle.
- Creams and/or topicals.
Our research indicated that the most effective treatment regarding impact on raising testosterone during and after treatment was split equally between intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. The topical creams were estimated to be 20-35% less effective per gram of testosterone used.
We find from our patients’ experience that most females prefer creams, and most males prefer injections. We suggest to each female patient that the injections are cheaper and more effective, and we give the option for both.
Both work; it’s down to preferences and abilities. Some people can’t take needles with them on their business travels, so cream is suitable for them. Elderly patients who would have a hard time handling a tiny needle may prefer creams. Science has not engineered a more proven and frankly simple option to balance and enhance the endocrine system than old-school TRT-based endocrinology.
