MULTIGEN HEALTH ARTICLE #40 – The Patients Who Said “NO” or Never Signed Up
“I called and almost signed up for hormone therapy. I decided to wait… and now it’s been another year—and nothing in my life has changed.”
I’m Joshua G. Crampton, founder of MultiGen Wellness. Our company is still small enough that I personally answer the 800 number nearly every day. And almost daily, I speak with potential patients who are on the edge of making a decision.
Many of them sign up—some go with another clinic. But a percentage never move forward at all.
This article is about them.
The Two High-Risk Groups
In our industry, there are two categories of patients that we know are at high risk:
- Those who start therapy but relapse—they disappear, fall off their protocol, and stop showing up for themselves.
- Those who call, ask questions, express interest—but never commit.
The second group battles something powerful: Resistance.
It’s heartbreaking. I can hear it during consultations—the hesitation, the fear, the lack of self-belief. They’ll say things like:
- “I need to do more research…”
- “Let me think about it…”
- “I might call around to compare…”
But underneath it, you can hear the apathy.
You can hear them talking themselves out of transformation.
The Enemy: Resistance to Change
Starting any new health protocol means committing to a new identity.
- Joining a gym is not just about showing up—it’s about becoming a new version of yourself.
- Hormone therapy isn’t just about labs and prescriptions—it’s about choosing life over stagnation.
We all face internal resistance. That’s human.
But many people lose the battle with themselves before they ever start.
What Happens When You Wait?
When a patient decides to wait or “do more research,” we check in months later. And almost every time?
They’ve done nothing.
No new habits. No other clinic. No healing. No growth.
They’re stuck exactly where they were the day they called.
Meanwhile, those who say YES and take action?
Just 30 days later, they’re sleeping better, thinking more clearly, feeling more like themselves—and telling us they wish they’d done it sooner.
One Life. One Body. One Chance.
I see it every day—the difference between those who step up and those who shrink back.
The ones who say yes are reclaiming their vitality, their confidence, and their future.
The ones who say no? Often just continue suffering in silence.
If you’re considering hormone therapy, the biggest risk isn’t the therapy.
The biggest risk is doing nothing while your health declines.
Say Yes to Yourself
You only get one life. One body. One chance.
The longer you wait, the harder the path becomes—and the less we may be able to help.
If you’re feeling the nudge, listen to it.
Take courage. Choose health. Say yes to your future.
