Wisconsin Hormone Therapy From Your Kitchen Table

Whether you live in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay or a small town up north, Wisconsin hormone therapy with MultiGen Wellness happens by video. You keep your schedule, skip the waiting room and still get a thorough review of your symptoms and labs.

For men, we look at symptoms such as low energy, reduced drive and changes in strength or mood, and whether testosterone replacement therapy makes sense. For women, we focus on perimenopause and menopause, including hot flashes, night sweats and disrupted sleep, and on options for hormone therapy for women.

Your path includes one trip. After you request a consult, you complete a blood draw at a lab draw site; in Wisconsin, the sites on the national lab we use are in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and Kenosha. Then you meet a licensed provider by video to go over your results and history. If a treatment plan is right for you, your medication ships to your home.

$247 to start (includes your first provider visit), then $97 per visit. Your next step: request a consult or call 1-800-259-0015.

Serving Patients Throughout Wisconsin

Wisconsin balances the manufacturing base of Milwaukee, the capital and university in Madison, and farm country statewide — with winters that make low energy easy to write off. MultiGen Wellness delivers provider-led testosterone, hormone, and weight-loss care statewide by telehealth, with labs at a nearby lab and medications shipped to your door.

Hormone Therapy for Wisconsin Adults

Whether you are on a Milwaukee production floor or working the land up north, the dark months can mask hormone changes worth measuring. Wisconsin patients begin with comprehensive bloodwork, meet a licensed provider on a $97 telehealth visit, and start a personalized protocol when it fits — precise care that fits the season.

Hormone Therapy in Wisconsin: What to Know

Physicians in Wisconsin are licensed by the Medical Examining Board, supported by the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS). The Board’s telemedicine rules, Wis. Admin. Code ch. Med 24, set out four points:

  • A physician-patient relationship may be established through telemedicine (Med 24.03).
  • A physician who diagnoses and treats a patient located in Wisconsin by telemedicine must hold a Wisconsin license to practice medicine and surgery (Med 24.04).
  • Telemedicine is held to the same standards of practice and conduct as in-person care, including confidentiality and recordkeeping (Med 24.05).
  • Before treatment recommendations or a prescription are given through a website, informed consent is required and a documented evaluation must be done. A prescription based only on a static electronic questionnaire falls short of minimally competent practice (Med 24.07).

Wisconsin’s Enhanced Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (ePDMP) gathers information about monitored prescription drugs dispensed in the state to help clinicians with prescribing and dispensing decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is hormone therapy available in Wisconsin?

New-Patient Special: $247 enrollment — includes your first provider visit.

Yes. MultiGen Wellness offers telehealth hormone therapy in Wisconsin. Residents of Milwaukee, Green Bay, Kenosha, and every other Wisconsin community can access our telehealth hormone therapy program.

Does insurance, HSA, or FSA cover treatment?

MultiGen Wellness is a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance and do not accept HSA or FSA cards for services.

Do I need to visit an office in Madison?

No. Every visit is conducted by telehealth. The only in-person step is a routine lab draw at a national lab location near you in Wisconsin — no office visit required.

How soon will I see results?

Many patients report improved energy, mood, and sleep within the first few weeks of treatment, with fuller results typically developing over 2–3 months as hormone levels stabilize.

Does a telehealth physician treating me need a Wisconsin license?

Yes. Rule Med 24.04 says a physician who uses telemedicine to diagnose and treat a patient located in Wisconsin must be licensed to practice medicine and surgery by the Medical Examining Board. The rule follows your location, not the clinician’s. You can request verification of a credential through DSPS credential verification.

Can I start testosterone by video in Wisconsin?

Wisconsin’s rules allow a physician-patient relationship to begin through telemedicine, as long as care meets in-person standards (Med 24.03 and 24.05). Testosterone is also a Schedule III controlled substance under federal law, so DEA rules apply as well. The DEA and HHS temporary telemedicine flexibilities, which allow it to be prescribed after an audio-video visit without a prior in-person exam, currently run through December 31, 2026 (Federal Register). Your licensed provider reviews your labs and history before deciding whether a prescription fits. To prepare, see what to expect at your first hormone consultation.

Can I get a prescription just by filling out an online form?

Not in Wisconsin. Under Med 24.07, prescribing based only on a static electronic questionnaire does not meet the standard of minimally competent medical practice. A documented evaluation is required, including a medical history and, as the standard of care requires, an exam, evaluation or diagnostic tests. That is why care with us starts with lab work and a video visit. Read how getting a TRT prescription online works.

Is there a lab draw site near Madison or Green Bay?

Not on the national lab we use. Its Wisconsin sites are in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and Kenosha, and it lists none in Madison, Green Bay, Wausau or elsewhere up north. Mention your location when you book, and plan for a drive to the Milwaukee area or Kenosha.

I still have periods. Can I get help for perimenopause?

Yes, you can ask. The National Institute on Aging explains that the time leading up to menopause, called perimenopause, can bring hot flashes, night sweats and trouble sleeping, and that menopause is confirmed only one year after a final period. A licensed provider reviews your symptoms, history and labs to decide whether treatment fits. Compare perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
